It has been 6 months since i last updated my blog. Didn't even notice that it was so long ago. The last entry was on the 20th may, which was the day i signed my contract with ****.

Times really flies. Without realising, i have been working in the lab for 5 months le. During this 5 months, i really learnt a lot of things. My mentor, is especially nice. Still remember the 1st month when i was here. I had totally forgetten about all the techniques that i had learnt. My mentor, showed me once, den i did once for her to see. She find it ok, den she let me carry on with the rest of it. I really appreciated it. My calculations cannot make it. She explained step by step to me until now i know how to calculate le. Without her, i dun think i can recall everything so fast.

However, all good things will have to come to an end. My big boss is retiring in jan 2009. The lab have to be closed and every one will have to go seperate ways. People have asked me why i joined the lab knowing that it will be closing. All i can say is that i never regretted being here. The people here are so nice. They helped and guided me. We can also chat non-work related stuff. Given a choice, i will not want to leave this lab. But, no choice... Just hope that the next place i go to will be the same or better but not get worse (Cross-finger)... haha...

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my lab mates the very best in their future. Hope they can succeed and get into a good lab... :)
